McPherson Training Concepts, Inc.  (MTC) is a professional treatment, training, and consultation team managed by Mike McPherson. We are committed to offering the highest quality, latest innovation and information to each and every corporation, company, group, and individual desiring knowledge and personal enrichment.

Mike McPherson has over 19 years experience in providing services and guidance for individuals and families with addiction and the multitude of probrems often associated with addiction.  He has given hundreds of presentations in a vast array of subject matter. 

His counseling career began on October 3, 1989 at the Navy Drug and Alcohol Counseling School in San Diego, CA. He attended world class training at renowned institutions such as:

Hazelden Institute, Center City, MN
Johnson Institute, Minneapolis, MN
Institute for Integral Development, Colorado Springs, CO School of Addiction Study, University of North Carolina  Preceptorship Training in Coronado Island, CA

He received his first counseling certification in April 1991, Florida Certified Addiction Professional in 1998 and Florida Certified Mental Health Professional in 2006. Mr McPherson recently become a provider for SAP services. He is a Red Cross Certified HIV&AIDS Instructor, Red Cross Certified CPR, First Aid Instructor, experience as an Adjunct Professor at Florida Community College at Jacksonville 2001 - 2007 and an Oral Evaluator for the Florida Certification Board from 1998 to the summer of 2008.
